Hi, I'm Helen Brooks - and I am so glad you are here.

Who am I?  First and foremost, I am a child of God, asking Him to give me the grace to walk out his calling for my life.  I am a wife, a mother to three girls, a mixed media artist, and lover of all things creative.

For me, art is a way to tell the story of my life. Most of my work is inspired by memories, people, and places that have shaped who I have become and am still becoming, I see each piece as a way for me to share the good news that God is fun and creative and that He desires for each of us to live a colorful and abundant life.  My prayer is that each piece reminds the viewer that joy and abundance is often found in seeking gratitude for the simple things in life.

I work mostly in mixed media on wooden panel, but enjoy experimenting with many different mediums.

I currently live in Columbus, Ga with my husband, Will, and our three daughters, Mary Helen (19), Virginia (16), and Katie (14).
